About

My name is Brok, and still-water trout fishing is my passion. While I occasionally wade into streams and rivers, most of my time is spent on reservoirs, ponds, and mountain lakes.

Still water reservoir fishing — my kind of water.

I've been fishing for trout for over 30 years, and I genuinely enjoy sharing what I've picked up along the way — even if I'd be the first to admit it isn't all that much. Whether you're just getting started or looking to try something new, I hope to help you make a few solid gear decisions.

Trout fishing is a lot of fun, and it can get downright addicting. I never get tired of that anticipation right before the bite — or the thrill when it finally happens.

For a long time I fished the same way: PowerBait rigged the same old method, a handful of lures, and not much else. Eventually I started learning new techniques, and they made a real difference in how many fish I was bringing in. The old standbys still work, but there's something satisfying about expanding your toolkit.

I may not know everything about trout fishing, but I know enough to be useful — and it's always a pleasure to help fellow anglers add a few more tricks to their arsenal.
