Berkley PowerBait Atomic Teasers

The Berkley PowerBait Pre-Rigged Atomic Teaser is one of the best pre-rigged trout baits for still water fishing. I fish the Pearl White and Caramel Apple colors most — both are effective still water trout lures depending on light and water clarity. From shore I work it with a slow jigging motion and it gets strikes on the drop regularly, making it a great trout bait for lake fishing from the bank. From the kayak I run it behind a Wigglefin Action Disc for trout trolling — the multi-tail design comes alive with even the slightest movement at slow kayak trolling speeds. The biggest advantage is that it comes pre-rigged on a jig head, so there is no messing around with rigging on the water — just clip it on and fish. The soft plastic can get chewed up after a few aggressive fish, but it holds up decently well compared to other soft plastic trout baits. At around $5 it's an easy add to any still water trout tackle setup.
